How you can get the most value out of Community in 2022

24th January 2022

You have big plans for 2022. Luckily, you also have exclusive access to the LandTech Community, which can help make those plans a reality.

Of course, to get the most from the Community you need to engage, and interact with other members.

From contributing to articles to meeting new contacts during Lunch Roulette, below we share our top four ways that you can capture the most value from Community.

  • Share your insights

You have a wealth of knowledge. And sharing that knowledge is a great way to build your reputation in the industry (and maybe even open a door or two).

We’re always on the lookout for guest experts to speak on our webinars – so if there’s a subject you’re passionate about, reach out to us and we can see if we can fit it into the schedule.

Or, if you’ve got a piece of your own content you want to share or just want to hear other Community members' opinions on a certain topic, you can publish a quick post on the Live Feed. It’s open for everyone to use and we encourage you to treat it as you would any other social media feed.

I’m the first to confess that there’s still a lot for me to learn about the industry, but as Community Content Specialist I can work with you to build out your ideas into valuable blogs and guides that will benefit other members.

  • Connect with other other members

Community is a great place to forge new connections with people from within your industry, or find new business contacts to collaborate on projects with.

Filling in your profile shows other members where your interests and expertise lies and allows you to make more relevant connections.

Our Member Directory is fully searchable and you can filter by location or profile fields, such as “Looking to connect with”, to get the most accurate results.

Once you’ve found some fellow members that you’d like to follow up with you can click through to their profile and hit “Send message” so that you can start a private conversation with them.

  • Join a group

Soon you’ll be able to connect with like-minded individuals via Community Groups – a new feature launching this quarter.

Whether your interests lie in planning, development finance, or site-sourcing we’re going to be creating smaller groups centred around specific aspects of the property industry.

The aim is to give you a welcoming and collaborative area to trade ideas, ask advice, and solve problems.

And perhaps the most widely-anticipated group that we’ll be opening up soon is our Product Feedback Group.

Here you’ll be able to:

  • Get a sneak peek of LandTech’s product roadmap
  • Interact directly with the Product team
  • Make feature requests and give feedback
  • Sign up to test new features

That kind of insight means you'll be one step ahead of the competition when features launch.

Working together

  • Attend events

There are a whole host of events coming up in 2022 that’ll get you back into the swing of proper networking after too long in a work-from-home world.

We’ll be releasing our full event schedule for Q1 very soon, but we’ve already got some valuable webinars planned for the next few weeks.

First up, join our monthly Customer Growth webinar to find out how you can leverage our new build premium data to tap into undiscovered opportunity areas. Then, at the start of February we’ll be diving into the recent results from the Housing Delivery Test and exploring solutions to improve housing delivery in 2022.

Alongside this we’ll be running product training sessions, roundtable discussions and regional networking events.

London Network Focus will be our flagship event, bringing together property professionals from across the capital for presentations and opportunities to connect.

We’ll let you know as soon as we open up registrations.

We’ll also be hosting Lunch Roulette events which you can opt into and be randomly matched with another Community member – all while enjoying a nice lunch on us! Keep your eyes peeled for more details coming soon.

Let us know how you want to get involved

If any of the above sounds of interest to you, please reach out to either myself, Chris, or Franki and let us know how you’d like to contribute.

Or let us know what content we can deliver to help you hit your business goals – we want you to help shape our agenda for Community in 2022.
