So what is a business review? 

Essentially it’s spending a chunk of time with an expert looking at how your systems work, what’s performing best, and getting suggestions for how to boost your results even further. We link in the goals that you set at the beginning of your journey with us and look at your usage to understand more about how you work.

  • 1) You can see your successes

We always start your Business review by using your Customer Portal to see which features you and your team have been using the most – and getting the most value from. 

It's also an opportunity to look at the return on investment you’re getting from LandInsight, too. When you first started your journey with us you gave us your goals, so this is an excellent time to see how the platform is really delivering on what you need it for.

Plus by seeing what’s really working for you, you can learn where to double down. 

 

  • 2) You can identify opportunities to improve your processes

Sometimes processes work seamlessly the first time you try them, but sometimes they need tweaks to make them work better.  It doesn’t necessarily mean the process is failing but you may find ways to improve them. 

For example, spending 30 minutes filling out multiple addresses on your introductory letters to landowners could be reduced by running a mail merge, especially when exporting a lot of addresses straight from LandInsight.

  • 3) You can think about the future

After looking at the past and present of the tool and how you’re getting on with your goals, then we’d take some time to think about what’s next. 

When it comes to reviews we want you to leave the meeting feeling like you have the toolkit you need in order to continue your successful journey. That can come in many forms including more one-on-one training with your Customer Success Manager (CSM), guidance on how other customers are using the platform successfully, and an overview of the features you can be using more effectively to achieve your goals. 

For example, you may be manually using the planning applications layer to see what’s going on with your Local Authorities, which is fine. However, you might find it faster and easier to set up specific planning alerts so you can get that information sent directly to your inbox. 

  • 4) You can see what new features are coming soon 

Business reviews are a great opportunity to not only look ahead at how you work, but also to see what future LandInsight features could do to help support you better. 

Your CSM has early access to feature demos, so they can provide you with a sneak peek before the actual launch. Then they can demonstrate how those features can be used depending on your focus points, and keep you up to speed with the release dates. 

  • 5) You can get a real say in what we add next

Not only can you see what’s coming, you can actually influence it, too.
